“No one should have to go to bed Hungry”

The Family Pantry – Damien’s Place was founded in April 1992 by Father Gabriel Healy, ss.cc., and  Fr. Thomas McElroy, ss.cc., as an outreach ministry of Sacred Hearts Retreat Center. Our Mission then and today is providing food to the poor and hungry in the greater Wareham and New Bedford area without regard to region, race, or religion. Our aim is to end hunger by distributing non-perishable food to people in need, by promoting education and hunger awareness in the community, and by making known other community resources to our clients.  Located at 3065 Cranberry Highway in East Wareham, we are open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NOON.
