Bishop George Palliparambil, S.D.B. is presently Bishop in the Diocese of Miao in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in northern India. His Diocese borders China, Tibet, Bhutan and Nepal. The mission diocese has over 50,000 Catholics, nine Diocesan Priests and over a dozen religious communities ministering to the people of the state. Bishop George belongs to the Salesian Community and is a friend of the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Pictured is Bishop George Ad Limina visit with Pope Benedict XVI.
