SSCC Pilgrims Travel to The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

THE BASILICA, Washington, D.C.

Pilgrims from Massachusetts and other parts of the country will converge
on Washington, DC this weekend for the celebration of a Mass of Thanksgiving in honor of the canonization of Saint Damien of Molokai, ss.cc. The Mass will take place on Sunday January 31, 2010,  at the
  Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception

  and will be televised live on the EWTN network at 2:00 pm EST.
 Principal celebrant is Archbishop Pietro Sambi, Apostolic Nuncio to the United States.

 
 All are invited to attend.

We thank God for the gift of St. Damien to the world.
