Fairhaven, Mass.- Secular Branch members of the USA Eastern Province renewed their commitment to the Congregation’s lay order during an evening liturgy Tuesday, May 1, at 6 p.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Fairhaven, Mass.

Nine Secular Branch members renewed their commitment for one year, with one new member committing for the first time. Members signed their commitment at the altar and received pins signifying their formal promise from Fr. Pat Killilea, ss.cc., pastor at St. Mary’s and Secular Branch spiritual mentor for the province.  Vicar Provincial, Fr. Stan Kolasa, ss.cc., concelebrated the liturgy with Fr. Pat Killilea, ss.cc., and Fr. Brian Marggraf, ss.cc. In his homily, Fr. Stan urged the members to brighten the world through the charisms that they share with the professed brothers and sisters of the Congregation.   A reception for members and their guests followed the ceremony.
