The money from the sale of a donated vehicle can be
put right to work by our missionaries; such as those who provide
services to leprosy patients in India.
 In
Bhubaneswar, India ,
the Damien Social
Development Institute oversees
programs which assist people with disabilities. Our
missionaries travel from village to village looking for people in
need of walking sticks for the blind, crutches, wheelchairs,
tricycles, and hearing aids. Once the survey is taken and the
assistive devices are acquired, our missionaries return to the
villages to direct the distribution and training on their use.
Sacred Hearts Missions is able to provide services
like these
with the generous support of Helping Hands of America. Helping Hands
is a private corporation that solicits donations of tangible goods
(autos, trucks, boats) and distributes a portion of the proceeds
directly to us for our missionaries. This program provides you with
the opportunity to support the work of over 2,000 priests, brothers
and sisters around the world. You would be surprised at the impact a
gift of any size can have in the hands of our missionaries.
