The SS.CC.
Community-in-Mission (CIM) U.S.A.
Artesia, New Mexico
The SS.CC. Community-in- Mission, (CIM)
located in Artesia, New Mexico,
ministers to three parishes and two missions in the Central Pecos
Valley of
Southeastern, New Mexico. The variety of
ministries in which we serve is quite diversified. Our community of
seven – three sisters and four brothers - minister in
the areas of sacramental and pastoral work,
religious education and social action. The parishes entrusted to our
care are: Our Lady of Grace and St. Anthony's in Artesia and
Immaculate Conception in Dexter (along with its two missions of St.
Catherine's in Hagerman and Our Lady of Guadalupe in Lake Arthur.)
These churches are located in
a bilingual area where Spanish and English are
spoken. Our ministries embody the compassionate love of Jesus and
Mary, and they are carried out in a spirit of service to people who
are underserved in our part of the Diocese of Las Cruces. We hope
and pray that what we do in the name of God and the Church serves
the people of God in New Mexico.
